CYT is een Erasmus= jeugdproject dat tot doel heeft sleutelcompetenties en vaardigheden van kansarme jongeren te verbeteren, in het bijzonder door de ontwikkeling van hun creativiteit, expressie door woord en gebaar, muziek en dans. Jongeren tussen 14- 25 jaar hebben meegewerkt om een theatervoorstelling te bedenken en uit te voeren over hoe zij het coronatijdperk beleven. Dit gebeurde in 5 verschillende landen: Polen, Roemenië, Griekenland, Cyprus en Nederland. Naast de voorstellingen en video's daarvan levert het project materiaal op voor jongerenwerkers en educatief werkers die met theater willen gaan werken. CYT is an Erasmus= youth project that aims to improve key competences and skills of disadvantaged young people, in particular through the development of their creativity, expression through word and gesture, music and dance. Young people between the ages of 14 and 25 have contributed to devise and perform a theater performance about how they experience the corona era. This happened in 5 different countries: Poland, Romania, Greece, Cyprus and the Netherlands. In addition to the performances and videos thereof, the project provides material for youth workers and educational workers who want to work with theatre. CYT started in 2021 and will run until March 2023.
